Evolving the After Shave

Our Sego After Shave Balm has always been built around performance, and that foundation hasn’t changed. We did, however, feel like it was time for a refresh and wanted to improve a few areas.

The base ingredients in the new serum remain the same. What we’ve refined is how those ingredients come together and how the product feels on your skin.

The biggest change is in the emulsifier system, which allows us to improve the overall application experience without altering what makes the formula effective.

With that adjustment, we’ve been able to:

• Reduce drag and increase glide, so it spreads more easily
• Improve overall sensory during application as well as face feel after
• Eliminate “soaping”, allowing it to absorb cleanly without turning white

We’ve also transitioned to a cold process emulsifier, which reduces energy use during production and supports a more eco-conscious approach. As part of this update, the formula is now approximately 98% naturally derived.

An added benefit of these changes is improved longevity on the skin, helping the product continue to support your skin long after application.

The result is a more refined, serum-like experience that builds on the original balm's performance while improving how it feels from the moment you apply it

Introducing our first Face Moisturizer

Alongside the updated after shave, we’ve also been working on a dedicated face moisturizer designed for those who are on the drier side. This is something that has been in development for a few years (because it had to be perfect!)

This formula is rich without being heavy.

It delivers lasting hydration through a combination of humectants and conditioning oils, while a ceramide-focused blend helps support the skin’s barrier and improve overall comfort throughout the day.

You’ll get:

• Long-lasting hydration that helps relieve dryness without a greasy feel
• Barrier support from ceramides, cholesterol, and phytosphingosine-these are found naturally in your skin
• A smooth, comfortable finish that layers easily for use with other products

Like the updated serum, this formula uses a naturally derived cold process emulsifier, which allows us to reduce energy use during production while maintaining a refined skin feel. The formula is also approximately 99% naturally derived.

As always, with sensitive skin in mind, we have kept it completely unscented, making it a strong option for those with sensitive skin or anyone who prefers a neutral product that won’t interfere with other scents.

We’ve also included ingredients like niacinamide, panthenol, and N-acetyl glucosamine, along with soothing elements such as chamomile and snow mushroom, to help keep the skin feeling calm and balanced.

The result is a moisturizer that feels rich and smooth when you apply it, but delivers sustained hydration and support that drier skin needs. We love this formula and hope you do too!
