This scent is a collaboration with Nate and Mel known as the BBS Live guys.  We started this project months ago and are happy we are finally able to bring it to you.  The guys wanted something related to Bourbon so this soap scent notes are rich and slightly spicey Sandalwood, warm oakwood, sweet tonka with a bit of smokiness and bite of bourbon  As a little special touch we added real bourbon in the soap!


The Zingari Man Sego tallow soap base is guaranteed to impress you with its elite level slickness, residual, cushion, glide, and an unsurpassed post shave feel. The post shave face feel is where it shines most. A luxurious post shave is important for your overall skin health and impacts the way your skin feels for the entire day.

 

DIRECTIONS: For the best wet-shave we recommend using during or after a hot shower. Wet your shaving brush and whisk it over the soap. Lather on your mug and shave with the grain. Re-lather and shave against the grain for a baby butt shave. Rinse with cold water.

Ingredients: Stearic acid, Vegetable Glycerin, Beef tallow, Shea butter, Potassium Hydroxide, Castor oil, Palm oil, Sodium Hydroxide, Fragrance, Bourbon, Jojoba oil, Oat bran oil, Shea butter (and) Glyceral Rosinate (and) Olive oil unsaponifiables, Coconut oil, Daikon Seed extract, Goat milk, Coconut milk, Sodium lactate

I recommend this product

Improvement from first BBS collaboration

Barrel Proof is much better than the original BBS release. The scent profile has a nice prominent wood/whiskey note. If it only had a bit more vanilla and caramel it would have been 5 stars for me. I use the first release and this one together to get the perfect mash up. Performance was great. Nice slick base offers a great glide on the razor.

Sadly I’m not a fan but you might be

These reviews are so hard to write because I love the performance of this soap, as always, and the scent isn’t bad or offensive in any way yet I’m left disappointed. I don’t care for the scent and it doesn’t remind me of bourbon. I can see how it would compliment a glass of bourbon if I drank one while shaving but on its own it doesn’t evoke that on its own, and I drink bourbon regularly. For a special and limited release that I have been waiting for for months I found myself quite disappointed with this. Your experience will vary of course and I hope you enjoy it more than I did. The performance of the soap is sublime.

Amazing

Performance is top notch as all of Zingari Man's soaps. The scent is best described as amazing! My wife even mentioned it smelled great...she usually just says my soaps all smell like "soap".

Fantastic

Great soap! Scent has the same notes as the original, but much lighter. Great for warm weather. As always, Heather did a great job with the soap, post shave feel is terrific.

Wonderful as always.

As always the base provides a smooth worry fee shave. The scent is very pleasant and as described. Thrilled I picked this one up. A must have for every wet shaver.

Shazam!! Phenomenal Scent & Lather | Barrel Proof shaving soap

Divine shave of zenness today using Barrel Proof soap (heaven). Loved the scent & the lather as with my other Sego soap (Wanderer) from Zingari is off the charts. Using my brush scuttle keeps the lather hot and the scent wafting for each pass. I’m hook-ed on Zingari man products.

Boozy beautifulness!!!

Soft rich woody and boozy scent. A fantastic play of wood and what I’m guessing is vanilla or tonka. Soft and creamy scent that is above medium in strength. The soap and aftershave bases are absolutely top notch! If this set comes around again you better jump on it quickly! Extremely happy with this purchase!!!
