Great scent, top shelf performance !!
I am no stranger to Zingari’s Sego base. The Sego tallow is among my favorite bases out there. This new scent is right in my wheelhouse. I’m extremely pleased with it. Please give Zingari a try if you have not done so yet.
This is one fabulous scent!! Peach and dark citrus, the musk not overpowering, great blend! The base is so nice to work with, it can take a good bit of water and its very slick, but you dont have to spend 20 minutes slowly adding water to get a rich slick lather like some bases. Out of all of the new bases, I would have to say this is way at the top of the list! Post shave feel is superb, and pairing with the recovery splash is heavenly... exactly what I was hoping for, great for hot humid summer days. I am definitely buying more so I wont run out.
I have tried both soap based that Zingari Man has produced, and I have also tried every scent specifically within Sego base. The Sego base is firm, easy to lather despite type of brush or pressure applied, easy to hydrate, and nourishing following the shave (post shave is not necessary for me typically). For me, it performs best with ample hydration. This soap is a very satisfying balance of peach, citrus, and musk. When you smell the puck, it is peach forward without being sweet. Upon other, initial notes for me are peach, then bitter orange, then, upon rinse, a very gentle musk remains. The resulting scent is present but not overbearing, and the musk creates a balance that, in my opinion, leaves the scent as being gender neutral for those that may see peach as being feminine.
Excellent I am a fan of Zingari Man
